Disclosure Policy.org – Disclosure Policy Generator for Bloggers

I thought since I was using advertising on my blog, it was important for me to post a disclosure policy. This lets my readers know that I do accept compensation from time to time, and how that can affect my content, but not my opinions. I would say over 90% of my content is self written, self motivated. From time to time a friend or business person may approach me to give my opinion on a topic. In these cases, if warranted, I will share that opinion with my readers.

I went to the http://www.disclosurepolicy.org/ website, and in a few simple steps, had generated a nice Disclosure Policy, viewable under my pages section, that spells out how and what compensation I accept and how it affects this website.

I hope this in no way changes your opinion of my website, and for those of you who know me personally, you know that it would take a lot of money to shut me up :) Regardless, this is a great site for you fellow bloggers, I recommend you get on and post one as soon as possible. It’s good practice and it’s really easy.
