Something obvious missing from Digg.com, Windows!

I hate to be captain obvious, and it’s funny I have never really noticed this before, but why is there no Windows section in the Technology section on Digg. I am sure I am opening myself up for a thousand “Cause Windows Sucks!” comments, but seriously folks. Isn’t it odd that the OS with 90% marketshare is not mentioned in the news section of Digg? Is Windows news not industry relevant?

I think this is a pretty petty omission personally. Wether you like it or not, Windows is here to stay, and it’s an important part of our industry. There is an apple section, a Linux/Unix section, but no Windows…go figure. Come on Kevin, we know you hate it, but it’s legitimate….and I did see a Vista machine set up in your cube.

While you have a valid point, I think a Windows section in Digg would be as pointless as a “White history month” in our 12 year calendar. It’s fair, but c’mon. Everything is White and Windows.

It’s almost comical to me how this is such an issue for people. Have you read the comments this article got on Digg? How the hell did Windows become racial and Microsoft become big bad whitey trying to push the black man down? Seriously people…

Well windows does suck.

Editor’s Note: I love an intelligent comment. And he obviously doesn’t have ammo for a debate given the bogus email.
