When running Vista.
As long as you have around 4 gig memory or more and a decent graphics card that is affordable say the Geforce 9 series or later you should be running Wow like a gem.

Things to look out for is shortage of memory - trying to play on a laptop such as described above - having a low end or integrated card. These things are simply not done.

For example: running a dualcore processor / Vista / 4 gig ram and a integrated or low end card will give you around 5 fps in Dalaran or in a full raid but just switching that integrated card with a 9600GT will let you play on full resolution with an average fps of 60 in dalaran and in raids...

[...] The details are simple, download the driver installer, extract it, over write the nv_disp.inf with the one at the bottom of this post, install the driver from the folder (run the setup) and reboot. Once your done, you will have the new control panel and a major increase in graphics performance. If you missed my last posts about WoW, the latest is here. [...]

Hey people. I think i got the meanest problem with my new bought computer in the world. Installed Vista, instaled wow, took 4 houres. When i logged in everything owrking gr8, played for a while, and the went to school. When i came back and tryed log in, it went fine, untill i could see my char. the comp froze in place, and the only thing i could do is restarting it. And it does the same every time, even happen when i wasent trying with wow once. I bought it, like i said, 2 month ago. Called support, and they said its hard/soft ware issue, "maby".
So, what shall i do?? Help me plz
