Apple Mail vs. Mozilla Thunderbird

In: Random

Setup problems aside, I decided that the feature set of Apple Mail is just a bit thin for me. I installed and set up Mozilla Thunderbird a bit ago and set all my account info and settings up.

The setup was pretty painless, but the features are pretty impressive for a free app. I am sure Apple Mail will be fine for most people, but it’s feature set left me missing my Outlook quite a bit.

Only question though, why does Thunderbird default to putting your message AFTER the message thread when you reply? That’s just strange.

If you haven’t checked it out, it’s available for Mac, PC and Linux and it’s a really nice email client, not to mention RSS and newsgroup client.
