The New Mac Keyboard

In: Random

24 Aug 2007

While I was out shopping for a backpack, I picked up one of the new slim Mac keyboards to use with my laptop when I am at my desk at home.

My impressions? It feels pretty good. It’s ridiculously thin, and it’s just plain beautiful. The goal was to be able to type comfortably while the laptop is on the stand on my desk, and it should fill that goal perfectly. I have to admit having a bit of trouble deciding to spend $50 on a wired keyboard when the older Bluetooth model is going for $60. In the end, I figured this one was small enough I could pack it in my backpack if I wanted to, so that’s a plus. Besides, I am not really losing a USB port since the keyboard has a pass through USB port on it.
