7 Sep 2007You have seen the after school specials. You know the horror stories. Today, my trusty friend took steroids. It’s a serious problem. My shiny little buddy is beefier than ever. Fortunately for me the side effects are speed and power. No shrinking pee pee for my beloved Macbook Pro.

Some things are just beautiful to behold. The MacBook Pro kicking 4 GB of Ram. I am curious why Parallels maxes out at 1.5GB. My intent was to split it between the two. Regardless, it’s a smoking little silver monster now.
On an unrelated note, Dawn and I are working at a Starbucks, and instead of paying the Internet fee, I shared my EVDO modem via an ad-hock network. How could it be any easier. I click the airport icon in the menu at the top, select create network, give it a name, go to sharing, choose the source and destination, and click share. Done. Not bad. Windows Vista is pretty easy too, but not THAT easy.
