This just a quick shot I wanted to get out there. It’s no big deal, but it is really starting to annoy me.

Headlines like the one to your left are not sports news. I am not sure what you want to call it? On MSNBC there is a crime and punishment section. I am getting really tired of going to MSNBC.com to get my NBA sporting news and finding garbage like this dominating the headlines.

The question I pose is this: At one point does news relating to sports figures, cease to be sporting news.

Obviously I came to the site to catch the latest on trades, injuries and general basketball team and player news. If Marbury had been in a car wreck and couldn’t play next year, that’s news to me. If he had sex with an intern, that’s nothing I care to know.

Anyway, I’ll quit bitching. Just annoying!
