If you have a new Apple laptop, more specifically a Macbook Pro and it’s stain collecting aluminum case, you know how dirty they can get. Mine get’s kind of hot, (ok, really hot) and for prolonged use it makes my palms sweat making light discolorations on the palm rest.
Marware has released it’s Protection Pack for Macbooks and I am am quite pleased with it. It comes with two pieces:
- An easy to remove palm rest cover made of pvc leather. It sticks on and removes just as easy leaving no residue on the laptop.
- A keyboard cover that doubles as a screen cleaner. The keyboard cleaner helps keep oil and dirt from the keys off of the screen when it’s closed.
The wrist pad was a perfect fit and easy to install. It took a few seconds to smooth out a few bubbles, but other than that it was a piece of cake. As you can see from the magnified photo below, it’s a perfect fit.
It’s actually much more comfortable using the laptop also. I am blogging this on it right now and it’s definitely more comfortable than it was before.
