Blogging from a tablet PC with Windows Vista

Tablet So I am trying something different tonight. while I am sitting, here watching some TV, I am this blog on a tablet pc with Windows Vista’s hand writing recognition and it really works! I thought it would be sketchy… it really isn’t!

Ok, now for the disclosure. I just switched back to the keyboard. It’s not that it’s not accurate. It never once incorrectly identified a word I typed. The problem is Windows Live Writer isn’t made for it so you have to write everything one line at a time. Not the best for blogging, but the point is proven.

Handwriting recognition has grown leaps and bounds! It’s a pretty impressive deal. Navigating the Toshiba Portege M400 laptop is effortless and spinning the screen around makes it a very luggable tablet form factor.

Windows Vista’s tablet features have grown a great deal since Windows XP and I am looking forward to exploring what it has to offer for a techno geek like myself.

Do you use a tablet PC? Do you have tips or software I should be using?
