I have tried the internet sharing feature on this HTC mogul and it will connect to the internet and i can browse the web but the connection will not last more than 5 minutes. After ~5 minutes, the internet connection is dropped and i have to re-connect on the phone itself.
I have it set to USB and Sprint PCS. I dont understand how it will connect just fine and allow me to browse for ~5 minutes, then all of a sudden just drop off and i loose svc.... I have done this procedure 5-6 times within a 45 minute range and its annoying...

It's because your USB connector can't charge your phone as fast as the battery is draining while you are surfing the internet. I just surf for a couple of hours then let it sit for a while until it is recharged...

@Hans: I sure haven't I wish I had though, I would love to use it USB'd to the laptop so I don't kill the battery when I forget to turn off bluetooth.

Did you ever figure out how to connect the USB to use the Mogul for DUN? I am currently using BT and then plugging in the USB so that
the MBP is charging it while using the BT for the connection. It's kind of hokey but it works fine. It would just make more sense to use the USB instead of killing the battery using the BT on the MBP and charging the Mogul. I'm using the VZW branded version the xv6800. It's a bit more difficult as VZW has it dumbed down. ICS is gone but there is a patch.
