I think I will take your lead and blog a "geek packing" post as well. I was really wavering on bringing my 40D and tripod; there's a BlogWorld photowalk on Saturday night that I thought would be interesting, but now I can't make it. I'm hoping someone puts together something similar for SPC just to make it worth my while to haul all that gear around...have you heard of anything like that in the works?
