It's perfect for a quick way to check email or weather and it would be a nice entertainment device on the boat or camping. But why the limitations? I love Mac products but have never understood the limitations. Why can I pick up any PC laptop I've owned in the past 5 years and insert my cam's SD card, but I can't with my 2-year old MacBook? I know I could buy an expresscard adapter but why? I already paid more than necessary just to get the Mac. So now, I could have a beautiful device perfect for video conferencing (nope... no camera and no USB connector to add one), viewing my cam photos (nope... aforementioned missing SD slot), or finally enjoy internet on the road (nope... AT&T!). And there's still the unecessary battery issue as well as the HD limitations you pointed out. But hey... it's MAGIC! Pretty lame IMO.
